Role of Civil Society Organizations in Ensuring the Health Care Services during COVID-19
In an attempt to combat with the spread of the novel COVID-19 governments across the world have been scrambling to engage in mass testing, quarantines, and contact tracing and eventual shutdowns. Amid the massive disruption caused by the pandemic, local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) have sprung into action to fill in the gaps of communication and delivery of essential items to underserved communities. The rural underserved people and urban slum dwellers tend to lack access to, health care, adequate food, clean drinking water, sanitation and educational facilities.
